Founded in 2014 by Akshat and Varvara Jain, 100HANDS is an Amsterdam-based menswear brand built on a multi-generational family heritage in the Indian textile industry. The company was established to create what many connoisseurs consider to be among the finest handmade shirts in the world, challenging the perception of Indian manufacturing. The brand’s name refers to the 50 artisans whose 100 hands touch each shirt during its creation, a process that can take up to 35 hours. This intensive labor involves an exceptional level of handwork, including hand-drawn patterns, hand-cut fabrics, and buttonholes that take 45 minutes each to sew.
