Founded in 2010 by Danny Lenihan in a converted chicken shed in Bedfordshire, England, 3 Legged Thing emerged from a desire to disrupt the monotonous, purely functional world of camera supports. Frustrated by the lack of versatility and the sea of black aluminum on the market, Lenihan introduced color, modularity, and unconventional naming conventions (like the "Brian" or "Albert" tripods) to the industry.
