Founded in 2019 in Montreal by Marion Selma Gamba, a former fashion designer whose background informs the fluid, fabric-like movement of her clay creations, A Deumain is a ceramics studio that bridges the gap between art and functional design. The brand is known for its handcrafted, organically shaped sculptural objects and vases that celebrate abstract forms through an exploration of materials, textures, and colors. Each piece is entirely unique, hand-built using stoneware clay, and finished with custom glazes that Gamba develops herself.
