Founded by Stephane Park in 2016, Aesther Ekme is a leather goods brand based between Copenhagen and Paris. A former accessories designer for Alexander Wang, Park launched the brand as a response to the seasonal “it-bag,” focusing instead on creating timeless, functional pieces that integrate seamlessly into the wearer’s wardrobe. The designs are characterized by their purified, sculptural aesthetics, drawing inspiration from the architectural lines of Brazilian Brutalism and the principles of Scandinavian minimalism. The brand is defined by its rejection of overt branding, using no visible logos or prominent hardware, allowing the focus to remain on the quality of the materials and the clean, ergonomic forms.
