Founded in 2019 in Kolkata by veteran Indian designer Anamika Khanna and her twin sons, Viraj and Vishesh, AK-OK was born from a personal family mantra meaning "everything will be alright." The label serves as the ready-to-wear, youth-focused offshoot of Khanna’s eponymous couture house, translating her deep knowledge of Indian textiles into a more relaxed, street-inflected context.
