Founded in 1972 by Aldo Bensadoun, the son of a shoe merchant and grandson of a cobbler, ALDO began as a footwear concession within a Montreal fashion boutique. The brand quickly grew into a global retailer known for its accessible, on-trend shoes, handbags, and accessories. Guided by a philosophy of providing both style and a sense of social responsibility, the company established itself as a mainstream fashion destination.
