Formally established in London in 2009 by Alix Verley-Pietrafesa, Alix of Bohemia began while she was studying art history in Scotland. With a family background of French artists and Italian textile makers, Verley-Pietrafesa started by creating bespoke, one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by her travels, vintage textiles, and the rebellious spirit of 1970s bohemia. The brand, now based in New York, has since expanded from its signature jackets to full seasonal collections including blouses, dresses, and pants.
