Launched in 2018, Alpyn Beauty was born from its founder’s need for effective skincare in the harsh mountain climate of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Kendra Kolb Butler, a 20-year beauty industry veteran, moved from New York City and opened a local beauty apothecary, where she discovered that even high-performance formulas weren't meeting her clients' needs. Inspired by the resilient botanicals thriving in her own backyard, she developed a line that combines sustainably hand-harvested native plants with potent clinical ingredients. This “wild-meets-clinical” approach defines the brand's product philosophy, resulting in formulas centered on hydration and barrier repair. The brand’s core products include moisturizers, serums, and cleansers that feature a proprietary blend of wildcrafted actives like arnica, chamomile, and sage. Alpyn Beauty is committed to sustainability, practicing responsible “wildcrafting” where only parts of the plant are harvested, leaving it intact. The brand is Leaping Bunny certified, gives back a portion of sales to the Grand Teton National Park Foundation for rewilding efforts, and uses recyclable packaging.
