Launched in 2012 by Daniele Amato, the seventh generation of a historic Milanese leather-working family, Amato Daniele extends the legacy of the Leu Locati company, which dates back to 1908. Growing up in the family’s Milan workshop, the founder absorbed the traditional craft, which he now applies to a contemporary collection of handbags, shoes, and accessories. The brand is defined by its meticulous handmade production, with every piece crafted in-house and produced almost exclusively to order to minimize waste. It uses fine materials like exotic leathers, velvet, satin, and a signature “Mesh” fabric woven from 24-karat gold and silver threads.
