Founded in 1891 in Le Locle, Switzerland by brothers Albert and Gustav Stolz, Angelus is a historic name in haute horlogerie. The brand originally built its reputation on pioneering in-house movements and complex chronographs, most notably the Chronodato, which became the first chronograph wristwatch to feature a complete calendar.
