Antolina is a footwear project founded by designer Mariela Montiel as a tribute to her Paraguayan roots and her grandmother, Antolina. Designed in Paris, the brand is defined by its use of traditional Paraguayan craftsmanship, specifically the hand-braided and hand-dyed cotton fabrics woven by women of the indigenous Maká community. This collaboration aims to revitalize and support an endangered craft, bringing vibrant, tropical-inspired colors to contemporary shoe silhouettes like slip-on sneakers, mules, and sandals.
