Originally established in 2006 and relaunched with a "strong return" in 2021, APEE by A Bathing Ape (often stylized as APEE™) is the "young girl" diffusion line of the iconic Japanese streetwear house. While the main BAPE line is known for its gritty, hip-hop-rooted camo and shark hoodies, APEE reinterprets these codes through a "sweet and sexy" lens designed specifically for a Gen Z female audience. The aesthetic softens BAPE’s hard-edged Ura-Harajuku roots, blending the signature 1st Camo and Ape Head logos with heart motifs, cropped silhouettes, and a vibrant palette of pinks, purples, and pastels.
