Founded in 2017 by designer and Pilates enthusiast Leana Shayefar in Los Angeles, Arebesk is a luxury activewear brand specializing in high-performance grip socks. Born out of Shayefar’s frustration with the lack of stylish, functional studio footwear, the brand launched with its signature Phish Net collection and quickly gained traction in the boutique fitness space. Arebesk is recognized for its patented grip technology, which utilizes twice the amount of silicone found in standard grip socks. The design features two half-circle silicone patches on the ball and heel of the foot, along with an internal silicone tab to prevent slipping and bunching during rigorous Pilates, barre, and yoga sessions.
