Founded in 2017 by Marc Armitano Domingo, a musician and ceramicist rooted in California and based in New York City, Armitano Domingo Ceramics (formerly Botticelli Ceramics) creates highly detailed, historically informed porcelain objects. Drawing heavily from his background in 17th- and 18th-century classical music and historical performance, Armitano Domingo infuses his work with the opulent, slightly surreal aesthetics of the Baroque and Renaissance eras. The brand’s signature style features hand-painted porcelain dishes, lockboxes, and vessels adorned with 14-karat gold accents, sculpted insects, and trompe l'oeil musical scores.
