Atelier Saint-André Perrin is a Parisian ceramics studio dedicated to the historic 18th-century Provençal technique of terre mêlée, or mixed earth. Founded by Sylvie Saint-André Perrin, who works alongside her daughter Elise, the atelier preserves the legacy of Aptware by meticulously handcrafting each piece. Sylvie, a master ceramist deeply rooted in traditional French craftsmanship, developed a signature stamping process that involves swirling together various colored oxide clays, rhythmically hand-kneading the mixture, and shaping it into plaster casts.
