Founded in 2012 on Canada’s West Coast by Kelsey Adair, Bare Knitwear was born from a desire to merge modern, minimalist design with traditional Andean craftsmanship. Guided by a "less is more" philosophy, the brand focuses on creating timeless, heirloom-quality essentials that encourage a slower, more intentional approach to dressing. Bare Knitwear is defined by its signature use of natural fibers—specifically baby alpaca, merino wool, and Peruvian Pima cotton—which are transformed into soft, sculptural pullovers, relaxed cardigans, and cozy accessories.
