BASE Milano is a major cultural and creative hub established in 2016 within the historic former Ansaldo factory in Milan's Tortona district. Born from one of Europe's most significant urban regeneration projects, it transformed 12,000 square meters of industrial space into a dynamic center for public and private collaboration. The project was initiated by a group of social enterprises including Avanzi and Esterni, with a mission to foster contamination between the arts, business, technology, and social innovation. It functions as a hybrid institution, serving as both a creative incubator and an open community hub.
