Bathing Culture was founded in San Francisco in 2017 by friends Tim Hollinger and Spencer Arnold, who were inspired by their adventures in Northern California. After long bike rides and dips in natural springs, they found a disconnect between their experiences in nature and the chemical-laden products available for post-adventure cleansing. This led them to create their cult-favorite, all-purpose Mind and Body Wash, an organic and biodegradable soap designed to be safe for both people and the planet.
