Founded in 1830 in the Swiss Jura, Baume & Mercier is one of the world's oldest watchmaking Maisons. The story began when brothers Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume established a watch dealership, built on the motto, “Accept only perfection, only manufacture watches of the highest quality.” This commitment to precision earned them a formidable reputation, winning numerous awards for timekeeping accuracy. A pivotal moment came in 1918 when William Baume partnered with the visionary Paul Mercier, officially forming Baume & Mercier in Geneva.
