Bella+Canvas was founded in 1992 by high school friends Danny Harris and Marco DeGeorge in Los Angeles, California, initially as a screen-printing business before pivoting to create high-quality blank apparel. Recognizing a gap in the market for premium, retail-quality garments for the printwear industry, the founders launched the women's line "Bella" in 1998 and the men's line "Canvas" in 2000, merging them into Bella+Canvas in 2002. The brand is celebrated for its signature Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, which provides an exceptionally soft, smooth surface ideal for custom printing.
