bijou build

Founded in 2020 in Maine by Amanda Lacy, a mother with a background in product safety and design, Bijou Build emerged from a desire to reimagine backyard play structures. The brand offers a modern, sustainable alternative to traditional, single-use plastic playsets. Bijou Build is known for its signature "Mainstay," a collapsible, adaptable play system built around a steel star hub frame and woven Teslin panels made from recycled water bottles. The modular design allows families to customize their setups with accessories like rope bridges, sway swings, and climbing walls, creating open-ended spaces that invite both children and adults to explore and relax.
