Founded in 2013 by sisters Hopie and Lily Stockman, Block Shop Textiles is a Los Angeles-based design studio that bridges the gap between traditional Indian craft and modern California aesthetics. Born from the founders' backgrounds in painting and art history, the brand began as a collaborative art project with master block printers in Jaipur. Today, Block Shop is celebrated for its cult-favorite textiles, which include geometric, Bauhaus-inspired rugs, soft cotton robes, and artful scarves. The product lines are defined by their bold color palettes, architectural motifs, and the subtle, human imperfections inherent to the hand-printing process.
