The name itself derives from the French 'bon ton,' reflecting a sophisticated and elegant style. Bontoni operates from a small, nine-person workshop, producing a limited number of pairs annually, with each shoe requiring approximately 14 weeks to complete. This dedication to slow, meticulous production preserves the house's artisanal integrity.
