Founded in 2018 by California native Lauren Quinn, Bromelia Swimwear was born from a desire to merge the vibrant beach culture of Brazil with a classic West Coast sensibility. Originally launched in Rio de Janeiro, the brand relocated its manufacturing to Los Angeles in 2020 to focus on local, ethical production. Quinn, inspired by the confident beachgoers of South America, built the brand around a dignified supply chain that champions fair wages and diverse, female, and LGBTQ+ artisans.
