Founded in 2008 by Nancy Badia, Buddha Mama is a Miami-based fine jewelry line born from a desire to blend spirituality with creative expression. The brand’s journey began at Badia’s kitchen table, where she started stringing beads to raise funds for her local Buddhist center. This act of contribution evolved into a fully-fledged collection co-designed with her daughter, Dakota. The brand is defined by its use of rich 20k gold, intricate hand-painted enamel, and a unique mix of Eastern spiritual symbols—like Buddhas, mandalas, and evil eyes—with a modern, pop-art and rock-and-roll edge.
