By Parra is the creative extension of Dutch artist, designer, and former pro skater Pieter ‘Piet’ Janssen. Launched in its current form in 2015 as a rebranding of his earlier label Rockwell, the Amsterdam-based brand transforms Janssen's distinctive post-Pop artwork into wearable pieces. The designs are instantly recognizable for their surreal, bird-like characters, bold hand-drawn typography, and a signature saturated color palette of blues, reds, and pinks. Core items include graphic T-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts that serve as canvases for the artist’s witty and sometimes melancholic illustrations.
