The original house gained significant acclaim, even earning the admiration of Queen Margherita of Savoy, before closing in the mid-20th century due to financial hardship. For over 60 years, the fragrances were lost to the market until Sergio Momo, founder of Xerjoff, acquired and revived the brand in 2009, aiming to safeguard the artistic legacy of the Art Nouveau era.
