Launched in 2020 by former marketing executive Babba C. Rivera, Ceremonia is a clean hair care brand based in New York. The brand was born from Rivera’s desire to celebrate her Latinx heritage and create high-performance products for a demographic historically underserved by the beauty industry. Inspired by the hair rituals of her childhood and her father’s work as a hairdresser from Chile, Ceremonia merges traditional, nutrient-rich ingredients from Latin America with modern, clean-science formulations. The brand debuted with its signature Aceite de Moska, a heritage scalp remedy oil, and has since expanded to a full range of shampoos, conditioners, and styling products designed for all hair types.
