Founded in Sydney in 2019 by self-taught designer Tina Grasso, Chouchou Intimates emerged from a desire to bridge the gap between uninspiring everyday basics and impractical luxury lingerie. Grasso, whose background in luxury beauty marketing informed her approach to consumer needs, built the brand around the philosophy that comfort and confidence should not be mutually exclusive. The label challenges outdated, male-gaze-centric ideas of sexiness, instead focusing on empowering women through expressive, personality-filled intimate apparel.
