Founded in 1643 in Paris, Cire Trudon is the oldest active candlemaker in the world, originally serving as the royal wax manufacturer for the French court of Louis XIV and later Napoleon Bonaparte. The brand’s heritage is deeply rooted in its historic beeswax formulas and meticulous craftsmanship, which have been preserved and refined over centuries. Relaunched in its modern luxury iteration in 2007 by entrepreneur Ramdane Touhami, Trudon has expanded its repertoire to include haute parfumerie, room sprays, and diffusers, while maintaining its signature aesthetic.
