Founded in 1947 in the small village of Briatexte in southwestern France, Collégien is a historic family-run hosiery brand celebrated for its signature slipper socks. The Guille family, who have operated a textile factory in the region for over a century, invented and patented the injection-molded rubber sole that defines the brand's most recognizable product. Originally created as a footwear solution for children in post-war France, the brand was revitalized in 2007 by the founder's great-grandchild, Olivier Guille, who reinterpreted the company archives for a modern audience.
