Launched in Athens in 1998 by founder Christos Costarellos, the house of Costarellos is a modern voice for romantic, ethereal design rooted in Greek heritage. After studying costume design at the London College of Fashion, Costarellos established his brand with a focus on eveningwear, which has since expanded to include ready-to-wear, resort, and bridal collections. The brand's signature is its masterful use of delicate European laces, intricate embroidery, and feather-light tulle, often inspired by the mythology, culture, and natural landscapes of Greece. Core designs feature flowing, draped silhouettes that evoke ancient Grecian statues, blended with a contemporary femininity seen in its whimsical details and body-enhancing cuts.
