Founded in 1971 by graphic designer-turned-innovator Massimo Osti, C.P. Company is the original Italian sportswear brand, revered for its fusion of military-inspired utility and pioneering fabric research. Initially launched as Chester Perry, the Bologna-based label quickly distinguished itself with advanced garment-dyeing processes that imparted unique color depth and a lived-in feel to its functional designs. This relentless experimentation, which Osti termed "sperimentazione," led to the creation of some of menswear's most enduring silhouettes, most notably the Mille Miglia jacket in 1988, now famously known as the Goggle Jacket, which features lenses integrated into the hood.
