Founded in 2020 by Tacita Brown, Cro-Che is a London-based sustainable label born out of a desire to mitigate fashion industry waste. The brand’s ethos is rooted in its production method: every piece is hand-crocheted by female artisans in developing countries, allowing them to work from home and support their communities. Because crochet inherently uses only the yarn required for the pattern, the construction process is virtually zero-waste.
