Founded in 2018 in Portland, Oregon, by landscapers Kate Day and Kyle Marie Summers alongside apparel developer Sara DeLuca, Dovetail Workwear was born out of a frustration with ill-fitting, impractical men's workwear. The brand is dedicated exclusively to women's utility apparel, engineering its pieces from the ground up to accommodate diverse body shapes. Known for its signature stretch canvas and denim pants, overalls, and jackets, Dovetail integrates pioneering pocket systems and inclusive sizing ranging from 000 to 24 with multiple inseams. The core product lines are designed to offer mobility and protection for women in non-traditional occupations, from construction and farming to studio arts.
