Founded by Alfred Dunhill in 1893, Dunhill evolved from a saddlery business into a purveyor of motoring accessories before establishing itself as a premier London tobacconist and, ultimately, a benchmark of British luxury menswear. Initially catering to the nascent car culture with its "Motorities" line, the house later became synonymous with exquisitely crafted pipes, lighters, and tobacco, famously supplying luminaries like Winston Churchill. By the 1970s, Dunhill had expanded into a full menswear collection, translating its legacy of functional, high-quality goods into ready-to-wear, bespoke tailoring, and fine leather accessories.
