Founded in 1985 by Gitte Dyrberg and Henning Kern, Dyrberg/Kern is a Danish jewelry and watch brand born from the creative energy of the two Copenhagen design school graduates. After initially designing clothing, the duo decided in 1990 to focus exclusively on fashion jewelry, building a brand with a mission to offer modern, confident women a piece of everyday luxury. The brand’s aesthetic is rooted in Scandinavian design principles, merging clean, minimalist lines with more opulent, international trends. Each piece is designed in their Copenhagen studio and then handcrafted, undergoing around 40 individual steps from casting and polishing to the hand-setting of crystals and semi-precious stones.
