Founded in 2021 by interdisciplinary designer Wang and his Shanghai-based Open Work Studio, Earthling Collective emerged during the pandemic as a narrative-driven fashion project. The brand operates from the conceptual perspective of an outsider discovering Earth, blending utopian space themes with contemporary streetwear. Wang, who previously created digital characters for Fendi and Stella McCartney, infuses the label with a playful, graphic-heavy aesthetic that merges digital culture with physical apparel.
