Founded in 2020 by Emily Martin during the global pandemic in New York, Emsah is an Australian contemporary label rooted in textile experimentation. Martin, a former buyer for Opening Ceremony, launched the brand as a one-person operation focused on the visceral feeling of fabrics against the skin. Now based between Melbourne and Sydney, Emsah operates as a highly tactile, made-to-order project rather than a traditional fashion house.
