Founded in 2002 by Emsie Sharp, a glassmaker who trained in London and spent three years apprenticing on the island of Murano, Emsie Sharp Glass is a Dorset-based studio specializing in hand-blown glassware. Operating out of a converted cowshed, the brand produces both functional tableware and sculptural objects that blend traditional Venetian techniques with a distinctly British sensibility. Sharp’s signature style embraces the subtle marks of the maker, incorporating trapped bubbles, pontil scars, and slight wobbles that give each piece a unique, organic character.
