Founded in 2006 by rebellious German perfumer Geza Schoen, Escentric Molecules disrupted the fragrance industry with a radically minimalist concept. Disillusioned with commercial perfumery, Schoen launched the brand from London to celebrate perfumery as an art of chemistry. The core idea is to showcase exceptional aroma-molecules that have the character to stand alone. The brand debuted with two scents honoring Iso E Super, a synthetic molecule prized for its velvety, cocooning effect. The first, Molecule 01, contains only Iso E Super, creating a subtle, indefinable radiance unique to each wearer. Its companion, Escentric 01, highlights the same molecule by pairing it with complementary ingredients.
