Founded in 2013 by sisters and co-creative directors Chiara and Giuliana Macchiavello, ESCVDO is a luxury fashion brand based in Peru dedicated to celebrating the country's rich textile heritage. With a background in art and design, the founders built the brand on a deep connection to Peruvian culture, working to preserve ancestral weaving, knitting, and embroidery techniques through a modern lens. The brand is known for its ready-to-wear collections featuring hand-woven Pima cotton dresses, vibrant alpaca-wool knitwear, and sculptural, handcrafted crochet pieces. Each garment is made locally by a network of over 350 artisans, primarily women in rural areas, reflecting the brand's core commitment to fair trade principles and community empowerment.
