Founded in 2023 by Laura Baker, Abe Pines, and Yoel Zagelbaum, ESSX is a sprawling multi-brand concept store located in New York City’s Lower East Side. Born from a desire to revive the immersive, community-driven retail experience of downtown New York, the 7,000-square-foot space functions as both a shopping destination and a cultural incubator. The founders, bringing backgrounds in streetwear and fashion merchandising, designed the store to champion discoverability and creative energy.
