Founded in 2012 by a trio of artists, Études is a Paris-based label that operates as a hybrid fashion brand, creative studio, and independent publisher. Initially rooted in menswear with a strong streetwear influence, the collective of Aurélien Arbet, Jérémie Egry, and formerly José Lamali, built the brand on a dialogue between fashion, contemporary art, and photography. Its designs are recognized for clean, essential silhouettes punctuated by bold graphics, including a signature use of Klein blue and a 12-star emblem borrowed from the European flag, reflecting the brand’s multicultural values. The collections, which now include womenswear with a distinctly gender-fluid feel, blend modernist design references with a practical, urban edge.
