Founded in 2013 in San Francisco by Jake Miller, a coffee enthusiast who launched the brand while in business school, Fellow has redefined the aesthetic of home brewing. The brand emerged from a Kickstarter campaign for the Duo Coffee Steeper and quickly established its identity by merging specialty-coffee functionality with a restrained, minimalist industrial design. Fellow is best known for its signature matte-finished, geometric coffee gear, most notably the Stagg EKG electric pour-over kettle, which has become a staple for both champion baristas and design-conscious home brewers.
