Founded in 2019 by designer Paula Montoya, Fensi is a Mexico City–based swimwear and resortwear label that channels a vibrant, retro-eclectic energy. Born from Montoya’s desire to create a brand rooted in “fanaticism for the body” (the name derives from the Chinese word for ‘fan’), the label rejects the frenetic pace of the fashion calendar in favor of a slow, intentional approach. Fensi is best known for its “second-skin” mesh pieces, psychedelic sixties-inspired prints, and bold color palettes that transition seamlessly from the beach to the street.
