Founded in 2016 in Brussels by artist duo Lisa Egio and Elliot Kervyn, Frizbee Ceramics is an experimental homeware brand that brings a playful, subversive edge to traditional porcelain. The founders, who studied architecture and anthropology before completing a postgraduate course in sculpture, approach ceramics as a contextual laboratory, critically examining manufacturing and consumption through humor and self-deprecation. Now based in Barrosinha, Portugal, the brand produces limited quantities of handcrafted, high-quality porcelain objects ranging from tiny shot glasses to large serving dishes.
