Founded in Paris in 2015 by the couple Franck Lin and Chloé Jin, FRNCH (a contraction of their first names) was born from a desire to create a unique and accessible womenswear wardrobe. Jin, who grew up in her parents' sewing workshop, brought a deep understanding of garment creation to the brand. Initially a partnership, the brand is now led solely by Jin, who has instilled a "for women, by women" vision. FRNCH is defined by its blend of timeless Parisian elegance and a playful, cosmopolitan spirit. The brand is particularly known for its vibrant color palettes and exclusive prints, which are hand-drawn by designers in Paris each season. These designs are applied to a range of ready-to-wear pieces, including dresses, blouses, tailored trousers, and knitwear, all intended to blur the lines between casual and sophisticated dressing. The collections are built on an idea of a free-spirited, confident femininity, encouraging self-expression through bold patterns and versatile silhouettes.
