Gas Bijoux began on the beaches of Saint-Tropez in 1969, where founder André Gas, an artist from Marseille, sold his handmade lucky charm jewelry. This sun-drenched, bohemian origin story remains central to the brand's identity as a family-run "haute-fantaisie" jewelry house. For over 50 years, every piece has been handcrafted in the family’s historic Marseille atelier by a team of approximately 80 artisans. This commitment to traditional craftsmanship earned the company the prestigious "Living Heritage Company" (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) label from the French state, recognizing its unique savoir-faire.
