Founded in 2015 by stylist Gaia Russo, Gayalab is an Italian children's fashion brand built on the principle of “less is more.” After working in adult fashion, Russo shifted her focus to children's wear, aiming to create distinguished, high-quality garments. The brand’s core concept is a minimal style characterized by unconventional volumes and clean, deconstructed cuts, resulting in pieces that are both linear and unique. All products are entirely made in Italy, with a focus on creating durable clothing designed to last. For each collection, fabrics are carefully selected from Italian companies, with a preference for organic and biological materials. A significant portion of the collection is intentionally gender-neutral, moving away from traditional colors and fits for children to allow for freer self-expression.
